Description

Participants will engage in interspersed pedagogical and content knowledge instruction in a sustained series of workshops, meeting face-to-face, online, and during site visits to discuss the CCSS for Mathematics. Activities will include deconstructing the CCSS for math to identify the high emphasis domains that will be assessed on the HSE, developing high quality tasks and activities that promote student engagement and are aligned to the Common Core, and engagement in actual lessons on identified topics of algebra to deepen and renew participant knowledge of algebraic content and concepts.
